Announcing the 2024 Hawai‘i Annual Leadership in Action Conference!

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming 2024 Hawai‘i Annual Leadership in Action Conference, co-hosted by the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL) Hawaii, the American College of Health Care Executives, and the Hawai‘i State Center for Nursing. This premier event will take place on November 14 and 15, 2024, at The Prince Hotel & Resort in Honolulu.

Conference Theme: “Reengineering Resilience”

This year, our theme underscores the critical importance of fostering resilience and well-being among our nursing and healthcare leaders. The conference will provide a platform to explore innovative strategies, share best practices, and celebrate excellence in patient care and healthcare delivery.

  • Call for Abstracts

    Healthcare professionals are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations for the 2024 Leadership in Action Conference. This conference is dedicated to the idea that every healthcare professional is a leader in their efforts to advance patient care and their profession.

    Conference Objectives:

    • Discover the key leadership competencies required for healthcare leaders to deliver highly effective results.
    • Differentiate between leadership and management requirements for sustaining successful personal and organizational change.
    • Attain tools and skills for successful change.
    • Gain strategies for talent management as change processes are implemented and managed.

    Presentation Format:

    • Poster Presentation: Posters will be displayed during the conference. One person must be present with the poster on November 15, 2024.
